NORTHERN TIER HIGH ADVENTURE - 2022 Northern Tier is the Boy Scouts of America’s gateway to adventure in the Great Northwoods. In the summer, Scouts from Northern Tier’s three wilderness canoe bases explore millions of acres of pristine lakes, meandering rivers, dense forests and wetlands in Northern Minnesota, Northwest Ontario and Northeast Manitoba. Troop 12 leadership has chosen to pursue a high adventure trip to Northern Tier. If you are interested in going to Northern Tier, please contract Mr. Harman. PHILMONT - 2019 Troop 12 has been awarded 2 crews for Philmont treks in 2019. Trek dates are June 25 2019 through July 7 2019. Expected departure date is June 22 and expected return date is July 7. If you are interested in going to Philmont, please contract Mr. Harman. The very first scout/parent meeting is being held as follows:    Monday, January 15   7:00 - 8:00 PM   Asbury Church SEA BASE - 2017 We won theopportunity to have (3) crews going to the Coral Reef Sailing Adventure June 2017.  The age requirement is as of the summer of 2017, or 13 and completed 8th grade. We will need to confirm by next Monday everyone who is interestedin attending, plus we need to collect the initial $ 100.00 deposit needed tosecure our trip.  This is super important because we can lose ourreservation if we don't make our deposit on time! Please bring your depositwith you or use your scout account at next Monday's meeting. At the initial meeting heldon February 8th wevoted and decided to do the 6-8 crew Sailing adventure with (3) crews lastevening with the Bahamas adventure as our second choice.  We are lookingto go the last weekend in June. This trip leaves daily which gives us a lot offlexibility in planning. The first deposit of $100 is due 3/1.  Here isthe tentative list of who is attending: if your name is missing or you were notable to attend last night, please let us know immediately as we need toregister the week of February 8th.
Troop 12 of the Minsi Trails Council has been awarded a reservation in 2014 at the Philmont Scout Ranch. SCHEDULE The Day 1 - 12 dates are firm commitments from Philmont. All travel To/Home dates are tentative and up to the discretion of the crews.

PHILMONT - 2011 Unfortunately, Troop 12 is on the Philmont waiting list for a trek in 2011. We will be puting in for a trek in 2012 - keep you backpacks crossed. If you are interested in going to Philmont in 2011, there may be council or other troops that have crew openings. Please see your scoutmaster for more details. PHILMONT - 2010 Unfortunately - the Philmont 2010 trek has been cancelled. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we were no longer able to meet the minimum crew number required by Philmont.
