SCOUTS vs ADVISORS THEME:  The scouts of Troop 12 have, although misguided as they are, challenged the advisers to multiple activities - which may include: Scout Pictionary, Bowling, Laser Tag, etc.  As the advisers have been heard to quote - "Your Going DOWN! AGAIN!" PATROL:  PLATINUM FALCONS JLT / LOCK IN EVENT: Troop 12 Junior Leader Training [JLT] - Followed by the annual Lock In  DATE: Saturday December 5 - Sunday December 6 (7AM) PLACE: Asbury or Trinity Church or Other COST:  $15 for food  STARTS:   Saturday - Noon ENDS:    Sunday - 7:00 AM DESCRIPTION Scouts increase their leadership skills using classroom instructions from adult advisers, and hands-on team building activities - followed an all night long no sleep zone full of video games, board games, games, capture the flag, and more. Be ready to eat lots of pizza and drink lots of Mountain Dew. For example:  If you want to play cards and specific board games or video games - then bring them.  It's always best to coordinate with the rest of the troop to see who is bringing what.  You may bring a video game and nobody else brought the console, or there are not enough controllers, or TVs.  Ahhhhhhh - the humanity.  What shall we ever do without mind-numbing video games. RETURN INFORMATION All arrival times at Asbury Church parking lot on Friday evening are 5:30 PM with a departure for camp at 6:00 PM and all return times on Sunday to the Asbury Church parking lot are estimated for 12:00 PM -- unless told otherwise. ALL camp out timings are tentative and subject to change at any time due to numerous camping conditions. Upon leaving camp, scouts will call their designated pick-up to provide an exact ETA. If you have arranged for your scout to be picked up by another individual, make sure your scout has that person's contact information in order to call and provide exact return times to the church. |
